This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes what data the website difflists.com (hereinafter — "the Site", "we") collects and processes, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights users have, including users from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

1. What data we collect

When you fill out the contact form, we may collect:

the content of your message;

This data is used solely to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties, except as required by law.

The Site uses Google AdSense to display advertising. This service may collect and process:

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the display of personalized advertising and the setting of related cookies takes place only with your explicit consent, except for strictly necessary (technical) cookies, without which the Site cannot function properly.

Consent is requested via a cookie consent banner (Consent Management Platform, CMP) certified under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). You may change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the Site.

Please note that Google has updated its TCF registration to use Purpose 3 — "Use limited data to select advertising" / "Device identification based on automatically transmitted information", related to the rollout of IP-based solutions in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for displaying personalized advertising;
legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for ensuring the security and functioning of the site;
performance of a user request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — when processing inquiries submitted via the contact form.

restrict or object to its processing;
receive your data in a structured format (right to data portability);
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;

8. Rights of California residents (CCPA)

If you are a resident of the State of California (USA), under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) you have the right to:

request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you;

opt out of the sale of your personal data to third parties.
